MATT EPSTEIN

Matt grew up in Sherman Oaks and still lives in the community with his family. Matt has been investing and selling real estate in this area since 1980. He brings to the team his vast sales and marketing experience through founding and building one of Southern California’s largest direct marketing and fulfillment companies. Matt divested his interest in that company in 1995 to concentrate on the industry that he loves…Real Estate. He founded Team 2000 and has quickly built it up to become the most successful real estate team in the south valley by keeping one thing in focus: Service.

Matt personally brokers approximately 50-75 transactions a year that represents about $40-60,000 million dollars in sales a year. Matt not only has a passion for real estate and selling homes but he is a true community leader. He is the Vice President of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association (Southern California’s largest). In addition, Matt also served on the South Valley Planning Commissioner for the City of Los Angeles, which Mayor Richard Riordon appointed him in 2000.

In 2006, Matt was re-appointed by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to the South Valley Area Planning Commission as President where he currently serves. Matt is honored to be a member of the board of directors for The Sherman Oaks Hospital, The Grossman Burn Center Foundation, and WeSpark, a local cancer support center. In 2003 Matt co-founded a real estate syndication company that acquired dozens of apartment houses totaling hundreds of units.

Matt has a strong development background and has developed over 100,000 square feet in the Los Angeles area over the last six years. As well Matt is a senior partner in a Real Estate company that owns and operates shopping centers around the country that total almost one million square feet of retail space.
