Berto Gonzalez is COO of tREO Capital Group, Inc. He has been instrumental in developing the firm’s distressed asset acquisition platform, including auction and short sale acquisitions. Mr. Gonzalez is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate from California State University at Long Beach.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gonzalez was Vice President responsible for acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, expense management, and business plan development for institutional quality, 1 million square foot shopping centers at Shopco Advisory Group.
Mr. Gonzalez began his real estate investment career at ING/Clarion in New York City, where he provided asset management services for assets owned by large public pension fund clients.
